Susan Jerian, MD is the Founder and President of ONCORD, Inc., a clinical and regulatory consulting firm based in southern California serving the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries (2006 to present). She is an expert in hematology and oncology product clinical development and regulatory affairs, with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Jerian has specific expertise in small molecules, biologics and complex co-development programs with therapeutic-device and therapeutic-therapeutic combination products. Previously, she served as a Supervisory Medical Officer at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER; 1995-2003) and Global Medical Director at Amgen Inc. (2003-2005). Dr. Jerian is the recipient of numerous awards; she completed her subspecialty training in Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes of Health (1991-1994) and Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center (1988-1991); she is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine (M.D.; 1988) and Occidental College (A.B.; 1984).
